2025 DC Jazz Festival weekend at the Wharf

This weekend (August 30-31, 2025), the DC Jazz Festival will take over The Wharf for what will be the end of its nearly weeklong festivities. Artists including The Baylor Project, Gary Bartz, Branford Marsalis, Ron Carter, Akua Allrich, Emmet Cohen, the Sun Ra Arkestra, Paul Carr and Vanessa Rubin, Christie Dashiell, The String Queens, Jazzmeia Horn, Corcoran Holt, John Scofield, and Keyon Harold, are just a few of the biggest names in jazz who are on tap to close out the Festival’s weekend activities across the site’s four stages. Now in its twenty-first season, the DC Jazz Festival has been a cornerstone of jazz in DC communities from the very start. That tradition continued this year as the Festival hosted performances at the Anthem, Canal Park, Pearl Street Warehouse, Westminster Church, American University, and the Kennedy Center.

While VIP tickets are sold out for Saturday, general admission and seated tickets are still available for both days, as well as VIP tickets for Sunday. It’s sure to be a great weekend of music. Go to the DC Jazz Festival website to see the full lineup of artists.
